RESERVATION INFORMATION

Renting a boat is simpler than you may imagine. No captain's license is required*, as the boats are easy to operate, and we provide basic instructions along with user-friendly maps.


*Must be 25 years of age to rent a boat. If you were born after January 1st, 1988, you must obtain a boater’s safety card. If you have a Captain’s license, then you are exempt from taking the course. But still must be 25 to rent.

Cancellation Policy: 48 Hour Cancellation Notice is required.

Please note, we do not encourage bringing pets onto rental boats. One pet is permitted with a weight limit of 40 pounds. A pet deposit of $250 will be taken at check-in.

On the day of your rental

Upon arrival, we have COMPLIMENTARY parking available for Boat Rental Customers. Pull your vehicle up to the unloading area and use the carts provided. Parking is available in the covered parking garage or in the main parking lot.

Once you have dropped off and unloaded please proceed to the Naples Bay Boat Rental check-in desk inside Waves Boutique and Marina Store.

All renters will complete a rental agreement and a waiver form. The renter may pay a waiver of damages fee for the applicable rental period. If the renter elects to pay the Boat Rental Damage Waiver fee, then the renter will not be responsible for 100% of the costs detailed in the our RENTAL DAMAGE FEES.

Our Marina team will escort you to your rental boat and provide a briefing of the boat operation, review the maps and check the boat over for any existing damage.

General Safety

All of our boats are equipped with US Coast Guard approved equipment including lifejackets for each person aboard and that includes specifically fitted personal floatation devices (PFDs) for children.

  • All kids 6 and younger must wear a PFD on a moving vessel.
  • USCG One USCG-approved B-1 type fire extinguisher
  • Sound-producing Device (bell, horn, whistle, etc.)

We monitor VHF Channel 68 or you can call us from your cell phone for any questions or requests for assistance. Boat Rentals at Naples Bay Resort is also a member of Sea Tow.

Water skiing, tubing, or towing any persons or items behind the boat is strictly not permitted.

We have an easy to navigate color chart taking you to sugar sand beaches, dockside restaurants & beautiful landscapes.

A federal speed limit of 30 MPH exists in all of the channels and inter-coastal waterways of Collier County. Be safe in your boat rental and obey the speed limit.

Everglades Center Console Rental Boats. Usage is confined to inland and intercoastal waterways extending from Naples Bay Resort to the Jolley Bridge, Marco Island and in the Gulf of Mexico from Doctor’s Pass in North Naples to the Marco River, Marco Island but no more than five (5) nautical miles from the shoreline

Deck or Tritoon Rental Boats. Usage is confined to inland and intercoastal waterways extending from Naples Bay Resort & Marina to the S.S. Jolly Bridge, Marco Island only and that these boats are not permitted in the Gulf of Mexico.

We require that full day boat rentals should be returned to the marina at Naples Bay Resort no later than 4:30 pm. Late fees of $100 per hour apply for all late returns.


Half-day boat rentals should be returned no later than four hours from the departure time. Late fees of $100 per hour apply for all late returns.
